Meet the frog.
AutomationFrog is built by Brad Johnson. A builder, not a consultant. Based in Costa Mesa, California.
I didn't plan to start an automation company.
I spent years in tech. Not as an engineer, but as the person who sat between the business and the tech.
- 🐸 Translating what developers built to the people who needed it.
- 🐸 Bridging the gap so developers could build what the business actually wanted.
Along the way, I noticed a pattern: small businesses were drowning in the same problems big companies had already solved. The tools existed. The patterns existed. But no one was bringing enterprise-grade thinking down-market.
So I started building.
- First for myself.
- Then for friends.
- Then for clients who said, "Can you do that for my business?"
Turns out, that's a company.
AI isn't a productivity tool.
It's a margin machine.
Most people talk about AI like it's a way to cram more into the same 24 hours:
- More content.
- More emails.
- More tasks.
- More noise.
I think that's completely backwards.
AI should construct margin. Breathing room. Time back.
It should create space to think about the work that matters, the relationships that need attention, and the life waiting for you on the other side of "just one more thing."
I don't build systems so you can fill your calendar.
I build systems so you can empty it.
Why a frog?
A frog sits quietly on its lily pad. Watches. Waits. Then, in a fraction of a second, leaps and catches exactly what it was waiting for.
That's what good automation looks like. From lily pad to launchpad. Patient. Precise. Surprisingly powerful. And a little unexpected.
Coffee, not Calendly.
I'm based in Costa Mesa, right in the heart of Orange County. I work best with people I can sit across from, look in the eye, and have an honest conversation with about what's working and what's not.
If you're in the area, let's grab coffee. If you're not, we'll figure it out.
I don't hide behind intake forms or scheduling widgets. If we're going to work together, I want to know who you are first.
